From 1971 to 1998 millions of Magic Kingdom guests happily careened through the streets, docks, and train tunnels of the wildest ride in Fantasyland-- Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Here we're pleased to offer an authentic ride vehicle from the beloved attraction. This yellow horseless carriage- emblazoned "Ratty" across the hood (err, bonnet)- may have been the very vehicle that whisked you and your family through the famous dark ride. This Walt Disney World attraction vehicle is a rare two-seater, likely of 1980's vintage. It is constructed of sturdy steel and fiberglass. It measures Approximately 7' long and 4 1/2' wide, weighing approximately 1000 pounds. Still in place is the electric motor and running gear. The car is in surprisingly good condition... often when ride cars go to the Disney "bone yard" they are heaped atop one another and given rough treatment as scrap metal. But this car was was preserved much as it was last seen in use in the attraction with relatively minor wear. It displays beautifully in its present condition with few exceptions: the motor cover is missing from the rear of vehicle; the right front fender shows minor damage; the upholstery shows some splits/wear associated with use on the ride and long term storage. As you can see from the photos (click on any for a larger view), it's a showpiece that most Disney fans can only ever dream of owning. This Mr. Toad vehicle represents more than just a unique collectible; it's the embodiment of pure happiness and nostalgic childhood memories. We have only this one available. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride cars are among the most iconic and recognizable Disney theme park attraction vehicles. In 1999 a WDW Mr. Toad car sold at the Official Disneyana Convention for $13,000. In April of 2007 a Disneyland Mr. Toad vehicle auctioned for (including buyer's premium) $31,625 ! From 1974 to 1994 Magic Kingdom guests blasted off into Tomorrowland's stratosphere aboard the Tomorrowland Star Jets. Located high above Tomorrowland atop the Wedway PeopleMover (later renamed Tomorrowland Transit Authority) structure, a flight in a Star Jet was one of the Magic Kingdom's most exhilarating attractions! When the attraction was re-themed to become the Astro Orbiter in the mid-1990's, most of the Star Jet vehicles crash-landed in the scrap heap. We know of only one other in private hands (that in the collection of Hollywood agent Richard Kraft). Here we are pleased to present a genuine piece of Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom: A rare surviving Tomorrowland Star Jet! This authentic Disney ride vehicle once proudly flew above Walt Disney World and is now cleared for approach to your spaceport. It is constructed of fiberglass and steel, it measures approximately 9 1/4' long and 5' wide, weighing approximately 375 pounds. It exhibits significant damage from hostile lifeforms, including fiberglass separation along the sides of the nose cone and damage to the rear rocket nozzles (see photos). Paint is overall scuffed and scratched from collisions with space junk. Some parts may be missing. Fiberglass repair and paint would go a long way toward bringing this Star Jet back to glory. Considered the ULTIMATE Disney theme park souvenir, Disney ride vehicles have sold for as much as $35,0000!
