1937 "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs"
Book Autographed by Walt Disney

A rare and wonderful 1937 Grosset & Dunlap edition of Walt Disney's Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, autographed by Walt Disney.  This early book- the first based on a full length Disney motion picture- is seldom encountered with Walt Disney's autograph.  Walt Disney has personally autographed the book with a fountain pen:

To Edith Hughes With Best Wishes Walt Disney

This early version of his cursive signature is much more rare than his signature from later in life when he appeared on television.  Until Walt Disney hosted his television show starting in 1954 he didn't receive as many requests for his autograph, making this early example from the 1930's uncommon.  This early version of Walt Disney's cursive signature is the style used for the Walt Disney Classics Collection logo (see example above).

This large-format book measures 13" x 10".  Book is in very fine condition; minor scratches to back cover; no dust jacket.  A wonderful memento of Walt Disney's first feature length motion picture, the all-time classic "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Includes the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.   Item # 7675,
