Walt Disney Block-Printed Autograph

A sheet from a vintage autograph album, boldly signed by Walt Disney, "TO RONALD FROM WALT DISNEY."  Walt has taken the time to inscribe and sign in his familiar block-printed style which we all associate with the Disney Company logo (Disney artists cleaned up this version of Walt's signature to make it more legible for the official logo).

Walt Disney used two styles of signature throughout his life.  One was the cursive style (the way you and I sign checks) for letters, documents, and most of the autographs he signed for fans, and the other was his trademark block-printed autograph, similar to the famous Disney company logotype.  Because it was slower to sign, Walt used the block signature less frequently, and today genuine examples are much more rare than his cursive signature.  This example is the style Walt Disney used in the 1940s.

This autograph is accompanied by an 8" x 10" photograph of a young Walt Disney.  In fine condition.  Measures approximately 4.5" x 3.75".  Includes the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.  Item # 1451, $2195
