Walt Disney Photo Autographed "To David"

The photo was autographed at the request of Disney Imagineer Duane Alt, as a gift for his stepson. Alt worked for Disney Imagineering (WED Enterprises) in the 19950s and 1960s. Under the direction of Imagineer Ken Anderson, Alt painted most of the two dimensional painted flat set pieces in Disneyland's Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.  Also with Ken Anderson he worked on early concepts for Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.  Alt also created early conceptual drawings for New Orleans Square, including Pirates of the Caribbean & The Blue Bayou restuarant.

When Alt and a beautiful WED receptionist fell in love, Walt' Disney's daughter Diane helped plan their wedding, which became a Who's Who of WED Imagineers. 

 Walt Disney has signed this scene from the introduction of his Sunday night television show in black felt tip pen.  Walt liked publicity photos featuring him with animals from his TV show.  He kept a stack of these photos in his office, and these were the ones he usually autographed when asked for a signed photograph.  This 8" x 10" photo is personally signed with a huge original Walt Disney autograph measuring SIX INCHES long!
