Walt Disney Autographed
Mickey Mouse Print!

Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse-- the two icons are inseparable.  In 1953 John Hench created a painting of Mickey to honor his 25th anniversary.  These high-quality prints were not available to the general public, but instead created at the Walt Disney Studio for promotional purposes (gifts to top-selling film salespeople, V.I.P.s, entertainment reporters, charity auctions, etcetera).  Many of these prints went unsigned, others were signed by Disney employees signing on behalf of their busy boss, but a rare few- such as this wonderful piece- were personally autographed by Walt Disney. 

When signing prints like these, Walt Disney would choose a colored crayon from his desk which complimented a color in the print.  Walt has inscribed the print in brown crayon in his famous block printing  "TO MARY MULLEN WITH BEST WISHES" and then signed it with a dark and bold WALT DISNEY signature.  

Today these prints are prized by collectors as one of the most attractive and displayable of all Walt Disney autographed items.  This fine print is of Walt Disney's most famous character- the one considered Walt's alter ego- Mickey Mouse!   Measures approximately 17" X 14" overall.  In extremely nice condition; very minor age toning/soiling.  Unframed.  A true presentation piece!  Includes the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.  Item # 1126B, $7,995
