Personally Signed Check This Walt Disney signed check is PSA/DNA authenticated, University Archives certified, and includes the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity Certificate! That's authentic times three! Walt Disney has personally signed this 1950 bank check with an elegant fountain pen signature. The check is made out to the wife of Albert Hardcastle, a professional songwriter whose compositions were used by the Disney Studio. At the time this check was signed the Walt Disney Studios was bustling with various projects in different stages of development or release. One of the most significant releases that year was "Cinderella," which premiered in February. Another project in the works at the studio during that time was "Alice in Wonderland." This film was released in 1951, but its production began in the late 1940s, overlapping with the production of "Cinderella." The check is from Walt's personal account at a
Burbank, California bank not far from the Walt Disney Studio. A similar Walt Disney signed check was offered in
Disneyland's Disney Gallery for $22,000! (see photo below)! Includes the 8" x 10" photo shown above.
