Walt Disney Signed 1958 Letter

Written on his personally embossed stationery, this 1958 letter conveys Walt's appreciation to author Robert Rockwell for sending an autographed copy of his book "My Way of Hunting."  Last year Walt Disney's office possessions were reinstalled in their original location at the Studio in Burbank after years of storage and traveling exhibitions (thank you Disney Archives).  The book referred to in the letter is still there in Walt's library today, added by Walt exactly as he promises in his letter!

The letter was written at time when Walt is busy with huge expansion plans for Disneyland.  The Matterhorn Bobsleds, Disneyland Alweg Monorail, and Submarine Voyage are all in the works for their debut the following year. 

Letter is in excellent condition with only the original mailing folds; measures approx. 10.5" x 7.25".  Walt Disney has vibrantly signed his name in green ink.  Includes the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity.  Also included is an 8" x 10" photograph of Walt Disney suitable for framing, shown above.  Item # 8915, $6495
