Among the most sought-after Walt Disney items are Disney Studio cels autographed by Walt.  They make for spectacular, show-stopping displays of the art Walt Disney built his reputation on.  Here I'm thrilled to present a spectacular cel setup of Pluto in a fantastic pose, personally autographed by Walt Disney:

TO JACK SMITH FROM WALT DISNEY

It's possible this was signed for "Happy" Jack Smith, singer of a 1940's Disney music album.  (Album shown below; not included).  The original Disney Studio authenticity label is still present (shown below) and identifies the cel as being from "Pluto's Kid Brother" although this pose is not seen in the final film.  The turtle is from the 1947 cartoon "Pluto's Housewarming."  The Disney Studio commonly mixed character cels from different cartoons in order to create the most pleasing, framable setups as V.I.P. gifts like this one.  The character cels are trimmed to the outline of the characters and set against an airbrushed background as was practice at Disney when preparing V.I.P. presentation cels.  On the bottom right of the mat opening is the offical "Original WPD" ink stamp. 

The mat measures 15.25" x 14" overall with a mat opening of 9.25" x 7.25."  Not framed.  Condition is very fine with minor age toning to mat.  The most spectacular signed Pluto cel I have offered!   Includes the Phil Sears Collectibles Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity Certificate.  # 8475, $8995
