A GIANT Walt Disney signature in a scrapbook of approximately 320 different True Life Adventure newspaper cartoons! Includes an email from the previous owner:
"I have 2 (two) signatures* from walt disney. Both are on the inside covers
of scrap books filled with the newspaper comics of the time. attached are
photos of the autographs... Walt Disney flew to wisconsin for
a vacation in Wisconsin Dells and he flew into the town my grandmother lived
in and she went and stood in line to get his autograph. I have a newspaper
clipping from the towns local paper (portage wisconsin, the portage daily
register) that confirms he was there..."
*Note: The email mentions
two signatures in two scrapbooks. The True Life Adventures comic strip was published beginning in 1955, inspired from a collection of fourteen full length and short subject documentary films produced by Walt Disney Productions roughly between the years 1948 and 1960. Launched in 1948 with "Seal Island," these films revolutionized the genre by blending educational content with captivating storytelling and stunning cinematography. Disney's True-Life Adventure films won a total of eight Academy Awards. These awards were spread across several films in the series, including "Seal Island," "The Living Desert," "The Vanishing Prairie," "The Living Desert," "White Wilderness," and "The Sea Around Us."Walt Disney's GIANT blue ink autograph
measures over 6 inches long! Scrapbook measures approximately 11" x 12'5 inches. Most of the pages have come loose from the two scrapbook
binding strings. Otherwise very fine condition.

mentioning he signed autographs during his visit to Wisconsin. Also
