1950's Walt Disney Fountain Pen Autograph

An absolutely GORGEOUS Walt Disney signature signed in elegant fountain pen ink. This giant signature measures almost 6" long. Signed in blue fountain pen ink on a cream colored page removed from an autograph album. Page is in excellent condition. Card measures approximately 6.5" x 4.5". Full page (shown below) and is inscribed "TO JEAN FRANCOIS WITH BEST WISHES WALT DISNEY". The name could be matted out to display as shown above.

Included is an email from the family of the original recipient:
"I am located in France and I have an authentic autograph from WD collected in a notebook by my father when he was young as he was making a would tour... around 1954 or 1959."

Walt Disney's signature evolved over the years, and the style of this autograph reveals it was signed sometime between the release of CINDERELLA, PETER PAN and LADY AND THE TRAMP in the first half of the 1950's. Fountain pen examples of Walt Disney's signature are more rare than later ballpoint pen signatures, and are sought-after for their bold yet elegant appeal.
